Marvel (Marvel)

In 1939, Timely Publications was started and was later retitled Marvel Comics. It was taken to an all new level in 1961 when Stan Lee, working with Jack Kirby, Steve Ditko, and others, created many new Superheroes. Marvel is now one of the biggest comic book publishers around.
