Spirit was born to a dirt-poor Native American family, and he grew up with all their customs and traditions. He was a hunting guide in high school and served in Southeast Asia. There is a definite, inexplicable, soothing aura about the mystic warrior, and some have claimed that he speaks to wild animals - and they speak back.
