Prince Namor the Sub-Mariner is the super-powered heir to the throne of the undersea kingdom of legendary Atlantis. At times a friend and at others a foe of land-dwelling humans, this hot-tempered monarch has on occasion led his Atlantean hordes in wars of vengeance against the surface world to combat mankind's polluting ways.
