Millions of years ago, the planet Cybertron was turned into a robot producing factory. One line of evil military robots with the ability to change shape, called the Decepticons, revolted against their masters and crash landed on earth; the crash deactivated them until a volcanic explosion reactivated them. Now the Decepticons spend their time fighting the Autobots and collecting energon to send back to Cybertron.
